Sculptor Andrew Kay walks past his lone wolf metal sculpture on the hills above Kendal, Cumbria (formerly Cumberland and Westmorland).
The last wolf in Britain was killed at nearby Humphrey Head in the former county of Westmorland in the 14th century.
There is a contemporary line of thought that the re-introduction of wolves would be beneficial to Britain’s eco-system.
Andrew’s work is collected throughout the world.
